Richard R. Lotshaw, MD

Dr. Richard Lotshaw has been a practicing Obstetrician and Gynecologist since 1988. He completed a Bachelor of Science degree at the Ohio State University and both his medical (MD) education and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at West Virginia University School of Medicine. Dr. Lotshaw has been an ABOG-Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist since 1992. He spent 15 years in private OBG practice before coming to Vanderbilt Health to become involved in the medical education of resident physicians and medical students. This has been his primary purpose since 2007. In his clinical practice, he has focused on menopause medicine and is a Menopause Society Certified Provider. He has continued the practice of General Obstetrics and Gynecology for 38 years of practice, including management of infertility and high-risk Obstetrics.
